Alessandro Malossi
Alessandro Malossi is an Italian artist living and working in Milan. His research develops through an immediate and layered visual language, in which pop imagery, digital culture, and conceptual tension coexist in a direct and recognizable way. Trained at NABA, he has developed a practice that combines pictorial sensitivity with a digital approach, translating icons, objects, and symbols of the present into images capable of triggering a critical reflection on desire, consumption, identity, and the contradictions of contemporary life. His works transform familiar and seemingly light-hearted elements into ambiguous, ironic, and often destabilizing visual devices, where the aesthetics of rapid communication encounters a deeper understanding of our times. His work thus moves between surface and meaning, visual attraction and conceptual short-circuit, offering a gaze fully immersed in the social media era and the sensibilities of the digital generation.
