CIRO PALUMBO
Ciro Palumbo was born in Zurich in 1965 and lives in Turin.
His training as a graphic designer and art director anticipates an approach to painting that focuses on composition, visual clarity, and the construction of space. But it is in the metaphysical dimension that Palumbo finds his center: a suspended place where objects become symbols and silence becomes narrative.
Palumbo traverses and reworks it in a personal key, made up of scenarios that resemble theaters of the imagination: essential architectures, immobile horizons, archetypal figures that suggest another place. His works are clearly recognizable worlds, yet always open to inner interpretation.
Active on the exhibition scene since the 1990s, Palumbo has presented his work in numerous institutional spaces and galleries, also participating in the 54th Venice Biennale (Piedmont Pavilion, 2011). Today, his canvases inhabit public and private collections, confirming a research that combines vision, memory, and formal rigor.
