Stefano Bombardieri

Stefano Bombardieri

The Matter of Emotion

Stefano Bombardieri, born in Brescia in 1968, is an Italian artist known for his extraordinary ability to transform matter into pure emotion. His works, often of great visual and conceptual impact, explore universal themes such as time, memory and the fragility of existence, inviting the observer to engage in a profound dialogue with their inner world.

The works on display come from the private collection of Giuseppe Loffredo, a passionate collector who has always supported Bombardieri's art. These works, linked by a unique emotional narrative, represent a synthesis of the artist's poetics, who finds in sculpture and installation the ideal means to communicate a reality suspended between dream and reflection.

Bombardieri participated in the 52nd and 54th Venice Biennale, in 2007 and 2011 respectively, consolidating his presence on the international art scene. Among his most famous monumental works are “Il Peso del Tempo Sospeso” (The Weight of Suspended Time), a suspended rhinoceros symbolising the weight of existence, and “Marta e l'Elefante” (Marta and the Elephant), an installation exploring the relationship between man and nature. These sculptures, exhibited in public spaces and galleries around the world, testify to the artist's ability to create works that transcend simple representation, offering immersive and reflective experiences.

With a poetics as powerful as it is delicate, Stefano Bombardieri takes art beyond the object, creating an experience that leaves a mark on the soul.
